So this week is National Volunteer Week and although I hope we say it often and you all know it all year round – THANK YOU to every single one of you for all you do.
Rain is so fortunate to have such a lovely, dedicated, passionate and supportive volunteer team, the charities work would simply not be possible without you.
From dog walkers, to cattery helpers, to fosterers, to fundraisers, to trustees, to admin helpers, graphic designers, press release writers, cat trappers, washers, transporters, fixers, … there’s too much to name that you do. But for every moment given and every gesture made, THANK YOU!!
I hope in the very near future we will all be able to see each other for a good catch up and celebration of all the hard work. ????
When you buy an item from the Rain Rescue Wish list it will be delivered directly to the rescue centre for the cats and dogs in our care. Pick from toys, treats, food, litter, bedding, cleaning supplies and other useful items. It’s a great way to donate, thank you.
Please note: If we are oversubscribed on a particular item we may substitute for another we are in need of. Your gift will be used where the need is greatest.
Founded in 2002, our charity has saved the lives of thousands of the cats and dogs most at risk in and around Yorkshire. Our rescue centre provides the space and support needed for these abandoned animals to recover, thrive and find a loving home.
