Hiya! My name’s Max, and I’m a 1 year 6 month old Whippet with a big heart and an even bigger personality! I’m a very giddy boy who loves getting excited about absolutely everything — whether it’s going for a walk, meeting new people, or just getting lots of fuss and attention.

Spending time with people is one of my favourite things in the world. I’m a super affectionate lad who loves being involved in whatever my humans are doing. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will always be happy to see you, I could be the perfect match!

I’m still a young dog, so I’ll need a home that can continue helping me with a little bit of training and guidance. Because I’m young, eager, and clever, I should pick things up quickly with patience and consistency. I just get so excited sometimes that I forget my manners a little!

I could potentially live with another dog, as long as slow introductions take place so we can get to know each other properly. Being a sighthound, cats aren’t really for me, so I’m looking for a cat-free home please. If I’m joining a family with children, the kennel team recommend ages 7+ as I can be quite bouncy and giddy when I’m excited.

My brother Paddy is also looking for his forever home. If someone was willing to welcome both of us together, that would be amazing — but we would also be happy being rehomed separately if the right homes come along.
