Hi, I’m Misty! š¾
I’m a 6 year old ShiChi, and if you’re looking for a sweet little companion with lots of love to give, then I could be the girl for you!
I can be a little shy when meeting new people and sometimes need a bit of time to get to know you. I like to take things at my own pace and build my confidence before showing my true personality. But once I’ve decided you’re one of my favourite humans, you’ll see a completely different side of me!
When I know you, I get so excited to see you that my tail doesn’t stop wagging. I love spending time with people I trust and getting plenty of fuss and attention. The kennel team say it’s lovely to watch me come out of my shell and show just how affectionate I can be.
Now, I do have one little habit that might sound familiar to anyone who loves small dogs ā I can be a bit barky when I’m out and about and see other dogs. I’m a typical little dog who likes to make my presence known! But please don’t let that put you off. Underneath it all, I’m a lovely girl who has been living with my doggy family and may have the potential to live with another dog following successful introductions.
When it comes to cats, I’ve never actually met one before, so the kennel team aren’t sure whether I’d be able to live with a feline friend or not.
I’ve also been around children before and enjoyed being part of family life, so a family home could be a lovely match for me. As always, any children should be respectful and understand that I may need a little time to get to know them first.
The kennel team are still getting to know me, so as they learn more about my personality, likes, dislikes, and ideal home, they’ll be sure to update my profile with even more information.
I’m looking for a patient and loving family who will give me the time I need to settle in and let my confidence blossom. Once I trust you, I promise you’ll gain a loyal little friend who will greet you with excitement, shower you with affection, and keep you smiling every day.
