Hello…
My name is Eric. I’m a gentle boy with a soft heart, and I’m looking for a calm, understanding home to call my own.
You might notice that I only have one eye. I had an old injury and it needed to be removed, but I promise it doesn’t stop me from enjoying life. If anything, it just makes me a little more special.
I can be a bit shy when we first meet, and I like having a safe space where I can relax and take things at my own pace. Loud noises and sudden movements can make me a little jumpy, so I’d really love a quiet home where I can feel secure. Once I know I’m safe though, my sweet side really shines. I love fuss and attention, and I’ll often roll onto my back to ask for gentle belly strokes. I also like to chirp away to you, it’s my way of saying hello and keeping you company.
I’ve been watching the other cats around me, and they help me feel braver. Because of that, I could live with another calm cat, as long as we’re introduced slowly. I might also be okay with a very gentle, cat friendly dog. Older children who understand that I need patience and kindness would be just fine for me too.
Playtime is one of my favourite things, especially when feathers are involved. I could chase them all day!
What I really need is someone who will give me the time and space to settle into my new life. With a little patience, I’ll become a loving and loyal companion.
Once I feel fully at home, I might enjoy a bit of outdoor access. A safe garden or a secure catio would suit me perfectly, somewhere I can explore without feeling overwhelmed.
