Jalapeño- 8 Week Old Female

I’ve had quite a tough start to my short life. I was found all alone in a garden with no mum to look after me. Because of this, I haven’t had much experience with people, and I’m still learning that humans can be kind and caring.

When I meet new people, I can be a little scared and I sometimes hiss. But please don’t worry – it’s just my way of saying I’m nervous. I don’t mean any harm, and deep down I’m just a kitten trying to figure out this big world.

I’m looking for a patient and understanding home with someone who has lots of time to help me build my confidence. I’ll need gentle encouragement and plenty of space to adjust at my own pace while I learn that people aren’t so scary after all.

I think living with a confident, friendly cat could really help show me the ropes and teach me that home life is pretty wonderful. I may also be able to live with a calm, cat-friendly dog who can respect my boundaries while I settle in.

I could happily live with older children who understand that I might take a little while to become the confident, playful kitten I’m meant to be. With time, patience, and love, I’m sure I’ll continue to blossom.

Once I’m all grown up and settled into my new home, I may enjoy having safe access to the outdoors to explore and satisfy my curiosity.
