Hello, I’m Mabel, and I feel a bit anxious writing this… you see, I’ve had a rough start in my short life, but the humans say I’m safe now! I’m slowly starting to trust the humans here; they keep assuring me that everything is ok… though I’m still unsure about that. I have a few favourite people who are helping me adjust to my new life, they are the lucky ones I’ll come out and see them and have a fuss!
I’m looking for a calm home with someone who has the time and patience to help me settle in, as I know it might take a while. I’ve shown some positive signs when I’m around other cats, so maybe a confident cat friend could help me come out of my shell. I’m not sure about having dog friends, as they might be a bit overwhelming for me while I adjust. If I had to share my home with children, I would prefer them to be older and more understanding.
Once I feel settled, I might enjoy having access to the outdoors to explore, but I may also just prefer to be a homebody, enjoying my comforts.
