I’m a 1-year-old Frenchie cross girlie with a playful heart, a curious mind, and just a little bit of “I need to take things slowly at first” energy.
Once I feel comfortable, I really come out of my shell. I love to play, I love to explore, and I’ve definitely got that fun young-dog sparkle about me. Zoomies? Absolutely. Toys? Yes please. Hanging out with my favourite people? That’s the best part of all.
But I should be honest with you… new people and new situations can make me feel quite nervous. I might need a little time to watch, think, and work things out before I feel safe enough to join in. I don’t mean to be shy forever—I just need patience, kindness, and a calm approach so I can build my confidence at my own pace.
Because I can find the world a bit overwhelming, the kennel team feel I would be best suited to an adult-only home, where things can stay calm, predictable, and gentle while I settle in and learn to trust.
I also need to be the only pet in the home, as I find other animals a bit too much for me right now. I’d really love a space where I can feel secure, relaxed, and able to focus on building my bond with my humans without any added pressure.
The kennel team are still getting to know me, so they’ll be updating my profile as they learn more about my personality and what helps me feel happiest.
The kennel team truly believe that with time, patience, and understanding, I’m going to make a wonderful companion. I’ve got so much love in me—I just need the right people to help me feel safe enough to show it.
