Hi everyone, Phoebe here! š
Some of you might recognise my squishy little face because Iāve popped up on the Facebook page before. I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly.
Iām Phoebe, a 4-year-old English Bulldog with a big personality packed into a very cute, wrinkly body. My favourite things in life are fuss, attention, more fuss⦠and just in case you missed it ā even more attention! I am what the humans call a total fuss pot. If thereās a lap, a hand for stroking, or someone willing to tell me how beautiful I am, Iāll be right there soaking it all up. And honestly⦠with a face like mine, people usually canāt resist. š
Right now Iām not quite ready to head off to my forever home yet. Iām waiting for something called BOAS surgery which will help me breathe a lot better. Once thatās all sorted and Iām feeling my best, Iāll be one step closer to finding my family.
The humans here are still getting to know me, so theyāll be doing a bit more dog testing to see how I feel about other doggy friends. I might be able to live with another dog, but if Iām honest⦠I do love being the centre of attention. Because Iām such a needy little princess, the team think I might be happiest as the only dog in the home so I can have all the love for myself.
As for cats⦠well, Iāve never actually met one before! So the humans will need to do some cat testing to see what I think about those mysterious creatures.
I have lived in a family home before, which means I already know a bit about home life. Because I can get a little giddy when Iām excited (which is quite often!), a home with children over the age of 6 would be best for me.
So for now, Iām focusing on getting my breathing sorted, enjoying lots of cuddles, and perfecting my āgive me attentionā face. Keep an eye on the page for updates about me⦠because once Iām ready, Iāll be looking for a family who wants a loving, cuddly, slightly dramatic bulldog shadow by their side.
My adoption fee is £350.
Love and slobbery kisses,
Phoebe š¾
