We’re Sugar and Plum, two brothers looking for our forever home together.
We’re quite shy when we first meet new people, but don’t let that fool you. When there’s a big, confident cat around, we turn into brave little explorers. Because of that, we think we’d be perfect for a home with a friendly resident cat who might be looking for two playful companions.
Our dream home would be a quiet, calm place with humans who have plenty of time and patience for us. Someone who works from home, or is around a lot, would be amazing, as having familiar people nearby really helps us feel safe and settle in at our own pace.
We’d be happy living with a confident feline friend, and we could also live with older children who understand that shy cats need lots of time, gentle voices, and kind hearts. Dogs wouldn’t be for us, thank you.
As we grow older and braver, we might enjoy exploring the outdoors, but we’d also be perfectly content as indoor cats, or with safe access to a catio where we can watch the world go by.
If you’re looking for two sweet brothers to love, and you have the patience to let us blossom in our own time, we promise it will be worth the wait.

Founded in 2002, our charity has saved the lives of thousands of the cats and dogs most at risk in and around Yorkshire. Our rescue centre provides the space and support needed for these abandoned animals to recover, thrive and find a loving home.
