Q: What is the Autumn Online Pet Show 2025?
A: The Autumn Online Pet Show 2025 is a virtual competition celebrating both dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. Participants can enter multiple classes to showcase their pets’ unique qualities.
Q: When is the show held?
A: The show runs over two days: it opens on Saturday 1st November at 11:00 AM and closes on Sunday 2nd November at 5:00 PM.
Q: Where is the show held?
A: The show is held entirely on our Facebook page. All class posts and entries will be published there.
Q: Can both dogs and cats enter?
A: Yes. This year is a combined dog and cat show, with a single Best in Show awarded.
Q: How do I enter?
A: All classes will be uploaded on our Facebook page at 11:00 AM on Saturday 1st November. To enter, comment your pet’s photo on the relevant class post.
Q: What is the cost of entry?
A: A suggested donation of £2 per entry applies. Participants may enter as many classes as they wish. Donations can be made via our website here or by texting PETSHOW to 70460 to donate £2.
Q: What classes are available?
A: The available classes are:
Golden Oldie – pets aged 7+
Handsomest Chap – male pets
Loveliest Lady – female pets
Best Rescue – adopted pets
TRICK OR TREAT – Halloween/autumn-themed entries
Cutest Sleeper – pets pictured sleeping
Tiny Tails – kittens and puppies under 1 year
Best Adventure – adventurous or playful pets
Q: When do entries close?
A: All class entries close on Sunday 2nd November at 5:00 PM.
Q: What prizes are awarded?
A: Certificates and rosettes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class. The Best in Show Champion, selected by public votes, will also receive a certificate and rosette.
Q: How is Best in Show determined?
A: After entries close, a Best in Show album will be published on Facebook at 6:00 PM on Sunday 2nd November. Voting closes at 7:00 PM, and the pet with the most likes will be named Champion.
Q: Who can enter?
A: Any dog or cat, regardless of age, breed, or background, may participate.
Q: Where can I view entries and results?
A: All entries, results, and announcements will be published on our Facebook page.
