Join us in supporting the lovable animals of Rain Rescue by taking part in this fun and rewarding fundraiser. “Chores for Paws” is a fantastic way for kids to contribute to a great cause while also learning the importance of helping others.

How It Works!

Sign up below and we will email you with your chore tick list (you can print as many as you need for however long you want to fundraise!). Fill each box with a fun chore – the more, the merrier! Kids can earn money for every task they complete, whether it’s walking the dog, tidying up their room, or even tackling the dreaded dishes. Every chore they do means more funds for our rescue animals – so let’s get ticking and help give them the care they deserve!

As the kids tick off completed chores, they’ll see how their efforts add up. Once the total is calculated, they’ll donate the money to Rain Rescue, directly benefiting our animals in need.

The best part? Kids can participate for as long as they like – whether it’s for a week, a month, or even longer! Just print off as many chore sheets as needed and watch as they take pride in their efforts to make a difference.

To show our appreciation, every child who completes this fundraiser will receive a special thank-you letter and a certificate recognising their commitment to helping animals in need.

“Chores for Paws” isn’t just about raising funds – it’s about teaching the younger generation that even the smallest actions can have a big impact on the world.

So, gather your family, download your chore sheets, and let’s roll up our sleeves for “Chores for Paws!” Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our rescue animals, one chore at a time.

At Rain Rescue, we’re delighted to see young supporters taking part in fundraising through our Chores for Paws initiative! To ensure everything runs smoothly and safely, here’s a simple guide to the UK laws surrounding children and fundraising.

Parental Consent:

Children under the age of 16 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate in any fundraising activity. Parents or guardians should supervise their child’s efforts to ensure they are safe, appropriate, and compliant with the law.

Collections:

It is illegal for anyone under 16 to collect money in a public place or go door-to-door, except in the City of London, where the minimum age is 18. For those aged 16 and over, a licence is required to collect in public. At Rain Rescue, we do not recommend public or door-to-door collections for safety reasons. If your child would like to collect on private property, such as a supermarket or workplace, permission must be obtained from the property owner beforehand. Strict age restrictions apply to those collecting money, so we encourage you to consult the Fundraising Regulator’s guidance on collections for more detailed advice.

Fun and Safe Fundraising:

Fundraising should be enjoyable and age-appropriate for children. Activities like completing chores, organising a bake sale, or hosting a small event with family and friends are excellent ways to get involved. Any fundraising activity involving under 16’s should always have adult supervision. By following these simple guidelines, your child can safely enjoy fundraising while making a meaningful impact for rescue animals in need. Thank you for supporting your little ones as they help us give these animals the second chance they deserve!
