Our corporate volunteer days offer companies a unique team-building opportunity while supporting a local charity dedicated to animal welfare.
Getting out of the work environment and volunteering in a hands-on way can be a rewarding way to engage employees, boost team morale, and give back to a local cause. You’ll bond as a team, improve communication, and develop new skills.
We offer this experience to dedicated teams of volunteers. These opportunities are in high demand, so be sure to book early if you’d like to secure a day with us.
As a small charity, we can accommodate a maximum group size of six people per day. This allows you to get the most out of your experience. If your team is larger than six, additional days can be booked.
If you’re also fundraising, we have fundraising packages available to help support your journey.
What to expect on the day
Tasks will differ depending on the day.
If your group is large, you may be split into two smaller groups. If this happens, the morning and afternoon sessions will be reversed for the second group.
Morning Activities
9:30am – Arrival, introductions and safety briefing
10:00am – Site maintenance, painting, or gardening
Lunch
12:30–1:30pm – Lunch in the meeting room
Afternoon Activities
1:30pm – Kennel/cattery work
– Dog walking in pairs with staff
– Socialising with the animals
– Spending time with the animals in the fields or catio
End of the Day
3:30pm – Team photos for social media
– Certificate of appreciation awarded
