Meet Padme! 🐾
Padme is a 9-month-old Akita pup who is full of love and affection. She thrives on attention and is always happiest when she’s close to her people. Like most young dogs, she loves her toys — though soft ones don’t last long, as she enjoys a bit of destuffing fun!

Padme also adores spending time outdoors. Whether it’s a good play in the fields or heading out for a walk, she’s always keen to explore. As she’s still a young pup finding her paws in the big wide world, she sometimes looks back for reassurance — but with patience and gentle encouragement, her confidence continues to grow every day.

She’s also still learning about home life. At first, Padme can be a little nervous when coming into our comfy area, but once she settles, she loves hopping up on the sofa and staying close to her handler for comfort and cuddles.

Her training is coming along nicely too — she’s nearly mastered “sit” and is eager to keep learning.

Padme is really good with other dogs, and a canine companion in her new home may help boost her confidence even more. She hasn’t been around cats before and, as a bouncy pup, she may be a little too much for them — but with slow and steady introductions, it could work if there’s already a cat in the home. When it comes to children, Padme would be best suited to a family with older kids, as she can sometimes be a bit giddy in her play.

Padme is looking for a patient, loving home that can help her continue to build her confidence while giving her the affection, companionship, and playtime she craves. In return, she’ll reward you with loyalty, sweetness, and plenty of fun-filled moments. 💕
