Hi there! I’m Rodeo 🤠
I’m a 1-year-old excitable little terrier cross with bundles of energy—seriously, I’ve got bounce for days! If you’re looking for a calm, sleepy pup… I might not be your guy. But if you want fun, laughter, and a best mate who’s always ready to go—now we’re talking.
My absolute favourite thing in the whole world? Playing ball 🎾
I LOVE it. I could chase a ball all day if you let me! Throw it, I’ll zoom after it. Throw it again? Even better. Keep going? Don’t mind if we do! But you’d better come prepared with two balls—because I won’t give mine up. If you throw another one, though, I’ll happily drop the first and zoom off after the new one.
Treats are another one of my favourite things (honestly… who can blame me?). My carers at the rescue say this is brilliant, because I’ll do just about anything for a tasty reward—which means training is something I actually really enjoy. Learning new tricks, showing off my skills, and earning snacks? That’s my kind of fun!
The people who look after me say my training is going really well. I was a bit unsure of new people at first, but every day they’ve been helping me get out there and meet new people—and I’m doing great! It turns out it’s pretty nice getting treats and fuss… I’m starting to think humans are actually quite lovely.
I have lived in a family environment before, but I think I would fit best in an adult-only home now as I’m a very excitable boy. I’m not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal. I can also be unsure around other dogs, so a pet-free home where I can really settle and shine would suit me best.
What I really need is someone patient, kind, and willing to guide me as I continue my training and learn to be the very best version of myself. I’m still learning, but I’m keen, clever, and really motivated—especially when treats are involved!
