Hi world! My name is Rufus.
My personality:
I am still a new boy here at Rain Rescue and am finding it quite difficult to come out of my shell. Currently, I spend my days at Rain lying in bed, finding it too scary to come out! I am a very shy boy, but the humans can tell I’m very lovely and I just need time and patience to settle in. The people here think that when I go to my new home, I will be a totally different cat from what I am in a rescue setting.
My ideal home:
In my new home, I would like to be the only pet, without too many comings and going as I am a nervous cat. I feel like I will thrive more being the only pet as I’ve never lived with cats before. This way, I can settle in with my new family and start to gain their trust. I wouldn’t mind living with children ages 13+ who would know when to give me my space if needed.
Access to outdoors:
When I am fully settled in my new home, I wouldn’t mind having access to the outdoors.
Toileting:
I am litter trained and currently using grit litter.
