We’d like to introduce you to a very special little cat… meet Arnold.
At just eight months old, Arnold is still a baby — yet he’s already faced more confusion and heartbreak than any young cat should ever have to endure.
He was left at a veterinary practice, and heartbreakingly, his owner never came back for him. The vets did everything they could — calling, messaging, and waiting the full seven days…
But no matter how many times they reached out, there was no reply. No one to come for him.
Imagine being so young, so confused… and feeling completely unwanted.
With no other option, the vets reached out to us, hoping we could give Arnold the safety, care, and compassion he desperately needed. And of course, we said yes.
When Arnold arrived in our care, we still tried to contact his owner, as we are legally obliged to do. But ultimately, Arnold stayed with us — safe, cared for, and finally loved.
Even though he wasn’t abandoned on the streets, Arnold was still left behind — somewhere his owner believed was safe. We want to gently remind everyone: this is what rescue shelters are here for. If you’re ever struggling, please reach out. We don’t judge — we’re here to support both you and your pet.
Now, Arnold is showered with love — and he’s showing us just how affectionate he can be. He melts into every cuddle, grateful for every gentle touch. Soon, he’ll find the loving home he truly deserves.
But Arnold isn’t the only one. There are countless cats and dogs facing the same heartbreaking situation… or worse. And we dread to imagine it.
Our Christmas wish is simple: to see animals like Arnold safe, warm, loved, and never left behind again.
Your support for our Christmas Dinner Appeal helps us give abandoned and forgotten pets comfort, care, full tummies, and hope when they need it most.
